These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the TrashDay app for iPhone and Apple Watch, published by Moorgate Inc ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading or using TrashDay, you agree to these Terms. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
The Service
TrashDay shows residential garbage, recycling, and paper collection schedules for supported municipalities and can remind you before collection days. The base app is free. An optional subscription ("Premium") unlocks reminders, widgets, and the Apple Watch app.
Subscriptions
- Plans — Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription: $0.99 per month or $7.99 per year (USD; local prices may vary). New subscribers get a free trial before the first charge.
- Billing — payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you don't cancel before it ends.
- Renewal — subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing & cancelling — manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or via the Manage Subscription button in the app. Cancelling keeps Premium until the end of the period already paid for.
- Family Sharing — Premium supports Apple Family Sharing.
- Refunds — purchases are processed by Apple; refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Schedules Are Informational Only
Collection schedules are compiled from publicly available municipal information and may change at any time without notice — due to weather, holidays, equipment issues, or municipal decisions. The app's schedules and reminders are provided for convenience only. Always follow official notices from your town. We are not responsible for missed collections or any consequences of relying on the app.
Reminders Depend on Your Device
Reminders are delivered as local notifications and require notification permission. Delivery can be affected by device settings such as Do Not Disturb, Focus modes, Low Power Mode, or notification permission being revoked. We cannot guarantee that any particular notification will be delivered at any particular time.
Acceptable Use
You may use TrashDay only for personal, non-commercial purposes and in compliance with applicable law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app, or reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law.
Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moorgate Inc will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to the App or Terms
We may update the app, its supported municipalities, its pricing, or these Terms from time to time. Changes to these Terms will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
